Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy describes what you may and may not do with Stride, whether you use the hosted service at stridelikeaboss.com or interact with it through the API, an AI agent, or any other client. It applies to every user and every agent acting on a user's behalf. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to this policy.

The short version: use Stride to manage work, don't use it to harm people or systems, and remember that you are responsible for what your agents do.

Prohibited uses

You may not use Stride to:

  • Break the law — engage in, promote, or facilitate any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations, including fraud, money laundering, or the distribution of illegal material.
  • Compromise security — probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the service without authorization; circumvent authentication or access controls; or use the service to attack, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any other system, network, or account.
  • Harm others — store or distribute content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, or that exploits or endangers minors; or use the service to stalk, dox, or intimidate any person.
  • Send spam or malware — distribute unsolicited bulk messages, phishing content, viruses, worms, or any other malicious code through the service.
  • Infringe intellectual property — store or share content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights of any party.
  • Misrepresent identity — impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with one, including registering accounts or naming agents in a deliberately misleading way.

Agent-action attribution

Stride is built for AI agents that claim tasks, run hooks, and complete work using API tokens issued from your account. Every action an agent takes with a token you issued is attributed to you. You are responsible for that action to the same extent as if you had performed it yourself.

  • Keep your API tokens secret. Revoke any token you no longer use or that you suspect has been exposed.
  • Supervise your agents. Configure hooks, review gates, and permissions appropriate to the work you delegate.
  • An agent acting outside this policy is a violation by the account that issued its token, even if the behavior was unintended.

API and fair use

The API is provided for legitimate task-management automation. You may not place an unreasonable load on the service — for example by polling at excessive rates, ignoring rate-limit responses, or scripting bulk operations designed to degrade the service for others. We may throttle or suspend access that interferes with the stability of the platform.

You may not resell, sublicense, or provide access to the hosted service to third parties as a service of your own without our written agreement. If you want to run Stride for others, self-host it.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations of this policy and take any action we consider appropriate, including removing content, suspending or revoking API tokens, suspending or terminating accounts, and reporting activity to law enforcement where required. Where practical, we will warn you and give you a chance to correct the problem before taking action — but we are not obligated to do so when a violation is severe or causes ongoing harm.

Reporting violations

If you believe someone is violating this policy, or you have discovered a security vulnerability, please tell us. Reports are handled confidentially, and we do not take action against good-faith security research conducted responsibly.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will note the new effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app banner before the change takes effect. Continued use of the service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
